The Jospong Group and Russia’s RUDN University recently formalized their collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at facilitating the pursuit of master’s degrees by 600 Ghanaian students. The academic focus will be on agribusiness, solid waste management, and climate change.
Commencing this year, the partnership will commence with the enrollment of an initial cohort of 120 students from various Ghanaian tertiary institutions. These students will embark on a comprehensive two-year program at RUDN University in Russia.
The official signing of the Agreement took place in Accra, with the distinguished presence of the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin. Notable attendees also included Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Minister of Education, and Dr. Freda Prempeh, the Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources.
This strategic collaboration is poised to bridge the existing gap between academia and industry, facilitating the transfer of knowledge and equipping young minds with the essential skills to tackle critical challenges within Ghana’s agriculture sector.
