Ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas has dropped his latest exposé on COVID-19. The exposé dubbed “Cashing in on COVID-19” was released on Monday, August 10, 2020.
The documentary, a BBC Africa Eye project shows how some staff in Ghana’s hospitals sold vital PPE meant hospital staff for personal profit. This investigation was done in March/April 7 when Ghana had not recorded more than 100 cases of Covid-19.
Today, Ghana’s case count stands at 41,003 with 38,330 recoveries and 215 deaths with many hospitals crying for the needed PPE to augment their activities.
