JUST IN: Lucy Quist resigns from Normalisation Committee

Madam Lucy Quist, Vice Chairperson for the Normalisation Committee of the Ghana Football Association, has left role with immediate effect.

Quist made the announcement via her official facebook account.

Quist said her decision to walk away after 8 months was “personal.”

Quist, 45, was named among a 4-member committee to take over the running of Ghana football after the Anas documentary resulted in the collapse of the the GFA’s Executive Committee.

Chairman Dr. Kofi Amoah, Naa Odofoley Nortey and Sammy Kuffour are the ones that now remain.

Her resignation comes a few days to the naming of the Black Stars squad for the 2019 Afcon in Egypt.

She becomes the second core member of the Normalization Committee to leave after Lawyer Duah Adonteng was also replaced by former Ghana defender Samuel Osei Kuffour.
