Karela United beat Ghana U-17 team in a friendly

Ghana Premier League side, Karela United, have beaten the Ghana U-17 team by one goal to nil at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence Astroturf on Saturday morning.

Coach Ben Fokuo’s side started camping for the upcoming WAFU U-17 tournament weeks ago and will use the game to assess the readiness of his lads while Karela United are prepping for the upcoming 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.

Karela United midfielder, Sadique Alhassan, scored the only goal for the Ghana Premier League club from the spot in the 25th minute of the game.

The Black Starlets couldn’t find the equalizer in the ninety minutes and the game ended one-nil for Karela United.

Meanwhile, Coach Ben Fukuo has assured Ghanaians of a ticket in the African Youth Championship when they take part in the WAFU Zone B tournament to be held in Benin later this month.
