She told Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem host Captain Smart the bad conditions under which her colleagues operated has been a worry hence building a hostel for them comes as a big relief.

She commended President Akufo-Addo for fulfilling his promise to the head potters.

“When I heard the Finance Minister was about to read the budget, I was very worried because all I wanted to hear was that our head potters were going to get a place to sleep so I was very happy when I heard about the 600-bed for them,” she said.

According to her, President Akufo-Addo’s commitment to ending the plight of Kayayei in the coming year is on course.
