Kennedy Agyapong’s contempt case adjourned

The Accra High Court has adjourned the contempt case involving Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong to Monday, September 28.

The Assin Central lawmaker is in court for threatening to deal with a Judge and also describing him as stupid after the judge issued an interlocutory injunction on him in a land dispute he’s involved in.

At Court today, the 4 minutes video of what the Lawmaker said was broadcasted after which the businessman pleaded not guilty of the contempt charges against him.

The hearing continues on Monday, September 28 for the MP to present his defence and subsequently for the court to give his ruling.
