KNUST student in Police grips for killing uber driver over GHC1,200 debt

Tafo Divisional police commander Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Akwasi Annor Arhin has confirmed that a final year student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST) is in Police Custody for the murder of an Uber Driver.

According to the Police, Emmanuel Awuah committed the crime after his victim, a Uber driver, Thomas Kwame Danso was unable to repay him a GHC1,200 debt.

The Police said Emmanuel committed the crime in the company of an accomplice who is currently at large.

The two according to the Police lured the deceased to a deserted area on the Toase Nkawie road where he was later found dead.
