Kola & Koyin: The Brewing Drama No One Saw Coming

It started with a whisper…., literally. Kola had been hearing things. His name was being passed around in hushed tones, and the source? None other than his supposed friend, Koyin. Apparently, Koyin had been telling anyone who cared to listen that Kola’s relationship with Dede had the same energy as Saga and Nini.
That alone was wild… but then came the club story. Koyin allegedly claimed that Dede embarrassed Kola publicly at the club. Funny thing? Kola had zero memory of any such incident. And he doesn’t strike me as someone who forgets things like that.
So when Kola brought it up with Dede, her first response was typical of someone who rides for her people:
“Should I talk to him?” she asked.
But Kola kept his cool.
“No need,” he replied.
“He’s 21. I’m not about to get into back-and-forths with someone that young. It’s just disappointing that he’s out here painting a false picture of me.”
And honestly? That says a lot. Sometimes silence is the loudest clapback.
The streets of #BBNaija may be full of twists and shady whispers, but one thing is clear: not every rumor deserves a reaction. Kola is choosing peace over petty, and that’s real maturity.
