Kotoko goalkeeper Osei Kwame discharged from hospital after successful surgery

Asante Kotoko have announced that goalkeeper Emmanuel Osei Kwame has been discharged from Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital where he underwent successful surgery.

The ex-Inter Allies shot-stopper spent almost seven hours at the hospital to correct the cruciate ligament tear he suffered.

The recurring injury resurfaced shortly after joining the Porcupine Warriors from the Eleven is to One boys, limiting him to the bench on match days.

However, with the topflight suspended due to COVID-19, the club took the opportunity to fix the problem.
