Kwadaso Mobile Phone thief battles for his life after very severe beatings

A man believed to be in his mid-20s is currently battling for his life after receiving severe beatings from residents for stealing a mobile phone in a parked vehicle at Odeneho Kwadaso in the Ashanti Region.

An eyewitness Yunus Mohammed who narrated the incident in an interview with Pure FM’s Osei Kwadwo, said the thief and his accomplice stole the phone from the victim’s man’s car after he parked it at a particular location for several minutes.

“The man whose phone was stolen parked his car near Trust Care Hospital and the thieves came near, broke into the car and took the mobile phone. The thieves were caught by a lady who was near the car and she blew an alarm”.

“The man whose phone was stolen and those around chased the thieves but one managed to escape. The one who escaped took away with the phone” Yunus explained.

Yunus Mohammed added “the incident angered those who were around and they started beating the thief severely till he became weak”.

It took the timely intervention of victim to save the life of the suspected thief who has since been handed over to the police

“The man whose phone was stolen after some minutes saved the life of the thief after he ordered them to stop beating him because he was afraid they may kill him”. The eyewitness added.
