Lawyer Roberta Ama Anokye has threatened legal action against the New Crusading Guide, an Accra-based private news paper.

The newspaper in its Friday, November 7, edition accused the legal brain of Landguard Tactics in Contentious Dispute

To the paper, a fierce land dispute in Otano, Adenta Municipality, Greater Accra, has sparked a legal battle between Spedee Empire Company Limited and the U.K based Ghanaian lawyer.

But the accused has described the publication as factual errors which has dragged her hard earned reputation into the mud.

Consequently, she has threatened to sue the newspaper for character defamation and distortion of facts.

” I demand an apology and a retraction, using the same medium, I should rather be crying foul, after approaching the Director of Lands Commission to correct a mistake her outfit caused, ” she said.

The accused legal practitioner added ” I am minding my own business only to read in the papers of these factual errors, it’s unfortunate that Spedee Empire, a Fictitious Ghanaian-formed company, under the guise of Dr Harry Dawson trespassed on my legally acquired property are rather pointing accusing fingers at me describing what they are rather doing.

I blame the lands commission of Ghana for colluding with such criminals.

” I have all documents on the said parcel of land they used land guards to develop over night under the guidance of heavy land guards presence.

“They besieged the road and took over the land in broad day light, how deplorable!, “
