Lockdown making me to enjoy my marriage – Empress Gifty

Ghanaian gospel musician Gifty Adorye who is popularly known as Empress Gifty has said her marriage is now enjoyable after the imposition of the lockdown.

According to her, her marriage to a politician meant there will be limited time for her husband to be at home and for them to spend quality time together.

In an interview with Okay FM, a local radio station, the gospel diva said she is grateful to the lockdown because it has kept her husband (Hopeson Adorye) at home and has brought joy and stability to her marriage.

“It has made him understand the calling of the ministry upon my life and it has drawn him closer to God. Seeing my husband pray with me and keep me in check makes me very happy,” she said.

Empress Gifty also said the lockdown has allowed her to perform her duties as a wife by sweeping, cleaning, cooking et al.
