Make John Kumah a running mate, else forget breaking the eight”- NPP Northern group

Members of the Northern Regional Caucus communication team in the Ahanti region, have urged Dr Muhamudu Bawumia and the entire NPP leadership to show some seriousness when it comes to running mate selection.

 

According to the group, before the party can break the eight, it needed to bring someone who is very influential, unifier and competent to compliment Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

 

To them, the only person who fits such description is the current MP for Ejisu and deputy finance minister, John Ampontuah Kumah.

 

Addressing the press on their reasons for selecting Lawyer John Kumah, Chairman of the group, Alhaji Gawo said, apart from his influence in the Ashanti region, John Kumah is a man of peace who also commands respect and pulls crowd across all the 16 regions of Ghana.

 

They are also of the view that John Kumah is a big threat to the NDC and its presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama.
