Mayweather’s Daughter Sentenced 6 Years For This Reason

Court records show that Iyanna Mayweather, who is 22 years old, admitted to stabbing Jazlyn Mychelle.

Iyanna Mayweather, daughter of former boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., avoided prison by pleading guilty to stabbing a woman at the home of her boyfriend at the time, rapper YoungBoy, in 2020.

The oldest daughter of the famous boxer was arrested in Houston, Texas, in April 2020, when she was 19 years old. She had stabbed a woman because of a family dispute. When the young woman got to the artist’s house, he was with Lapattra Lashai Jacobs. The stabbing happened after the two had a very heated argument in the kitchen.

Iyanna, who is 22 years old, has now admitted guilt and been given six years of probation. If she stays out of trouble for two years, the crime will be taken off her record because it wasn’t “serious.”

“Even though we think Iyanna acted in self-defense after being attacked, we thought this was the best way for her to get out of it,” Iyanna’s lawyer, Ken Schaffer, said after his client pleaded guilty.

As part of the plea deal, she won’t go to jail.

A deferred adjudication is a special kind of probation that is ordered by a judge. It lets Iyanna take responsibility for a crime without getting a real conviction. Iyanna must do the following as part of her sentence:

Can’t do anything wrong.

Cannot use or have any illegal drugs or prescription drugs that are not currently prescribed by a doctor.

Report to the person in charge.

work an appropriate job and/or go to school full-time.

Stay in Harris County or any counties that are right next to it. You can’t leave the area unless you’re given permission.
