Medeama terminate Abdul Basit Adam’s contract after three months

Ghana Premier League giants, Medeama SC, have mutually agreed to part ways with striker, Abdul Basit Adam, three months after joining the club.

The former Ghana U-20 man signed a three-year contract with the Tarkwa-based side back in October 2020, ahead of the start of the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.

The 25-year-old leaves the Yellow and Mauve side after making just two appearances in the league.

Medeama confirmed the end of the striker’s stay by tweeting “we have mutually parted ways with striker Abdul Basit Adam. Thank you, Basit.”

Basit previously played for New Edubiase in Ghana before moving to South Africa to play for Free State Stars.

In Europe, he spent most of his time in Sweden playing for Gefle and Frej.
