Menzgold’s Payboy Company a ploy to distract us – Menzgold customers

Aggrieved Menzgold customers have rubbished Payboy, a new company set up by embattled Gold dealership company, Menzgold to settle its debts to customers.

Menzgold as part of plans to pay up locked up funds of Menzgold customers issued a letter indicating that the introduction of PAYBOY COMPANY LIMITED, a digital payments marketing and promotions company.

PAYBOY COMPANY LIMITED is to serve as third party entity with the capacity to negotiate “Debt Settlements Agreements” and to facilitate payments of locked-up funds of the Menzgold customers.

“Following an advise given and subsequently reiterated in a press release issued on the 18th December 2019 with a reference number; KBA 3015/19 by our counsel, we’re happy to introduce PAYBOY COMPANY LIMITED; a digital payments marketing and promotions company, headquartered at No. 34 Nii Ako Nortei Street, Blohum Road, Dzorwulu, Accra, as the appointed third party entity with capacity to negotiate “Debt Settlements Agreements” and to facilitate payments of same, in our committed resolve to ensure the eventual full debts settlements by Menzgold within the shortest possible time…Counting on your kind cooperation as we strive to achieve this noble debt settlement objective,” Menzgold said in a statement said.

But in the interview with Ekourba Gyasi on Atinka AM Drive, a member of the aggrieved customers of Menzgold, Fred Forson, said it is reliably informed that Pay Boy Company is was created by NAM1 to complicate the payment plans.

Furious Fred Forson asked Menzgold when Pay boy, a digital payments marketing and promotions company, transitioned to become a debt settlement company.

“Menzgold should come and tell us the capacity, the track record and the number of companies the said Pay Boy has worked with. Who are the directors of Pay Boy Company?  Looking at the quantum of money involved in this whole issue we will not take chances. Nam 1 has created this company to take monies from us and use the same money to pay us and make it seem like it’s genuine”, he fumed.

Fred Forson blamed the government for allowing Nana Appiah Mensah to play with the minds of Menzgold customers.

He called on all aggrieved Menzgold customers not to pay anything to Pay Boy Company.
