Military men brutalise prostitute who has gone on night duty during lockdown

A prostitute who has decided to make fast money during this lockdown period wasn’t lucky at all as she got discovered by some security forces on patrol.

In a viral video, the lady who appears to be in her early 30s was seen well dressed in her ‘hoeing uniform’ about to attract some customers only for her to be busted.

She was ordered to squat and jump until she gets home.

She could be heard in the video saying her house is nearby and the security forces replied that she’ll have to hop until she gets home.

Coronavirus lockdown

Some parts of the country have entered a two week partial lockdown as ordered by the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The directive which took effect at 1am on Monday, March 30 is one of the drastic measures by the government to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

The lockdown affects areas where significant numbers of virus infections have been recorded. Some parts of the nation’s capital Accra as well as Ashanti regional capital Kumasi, Kasoa and Tema are hit with the 14-day restriction on movements.

The police has mounted roadblocks to ensure that persons who move in and out of the restricted areas are rendering essential services and are indeed exempted from the restrictions. Individuals who belong to this category are expected to show proper identification before they would have the green light to move.

The police are working in collaboration with the Ghana Navy, Army and Airforce in a humanitarian operation tagged “COVID Safety”.

At a press briefing in Accra, Sunday, DCOP Dr. Sayibu Gariba, Director of National Operations indicated that the service was poised to ensure compliance of the orders and would need maximum cooperation from the populace.

Ghana’s coronavirus case count is 152 with 5 deaths.
