Two girls have been rescued in Stanger after being reported missing on Monday night.
The girls aged 4 and 15, who are alleged to have gone missing from their home last night were found 2km away from their home.
IPSS medical rescue, SAPS and K9 search, and rescue were on scene.
According to IPSS medical rescue spokesperson Dylan Meyrick, SAPS along with K9 search and rescue were on scene for hours trying to track the girls and found them on Tuesday 2km from an informal settlement called ‘Kenya’.
“SAPS and K9 search, and rescue found the girls and they are currently being assessed and treated by paramedics,” said Meyrick.
According to Meyrick, the reason behind the girls’ disappearance is still unclear, however the police are investigating foul play.
Police are yet to respond.
