Mother of 8 dead, six others injured in Kumasi accident

A mother of eight has been confirmed dead in another lorry accident at Abrepo Highways junction in Kumasi in the Ashanti region.

The accident, according to Suame Police command, occurred around 2:am.

Six other passengers who sustained major injuries have been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for emergency medical attention.

The cause of the accident is not yet unknown.

The incident comes on the back of the death of 34 passengers in an accident in the Central region on Tuesday.
