Kwesimintsim Celebrates Groundbreaking Ceremony for Major Road Construction Projects Led by Chief Nana Egodzi Essoun III and MP Dr. Prince Hamid Armah.
In a momentous event, the Chief of Kwesimintsim, Nana Egodzi Essoun III, flanked by his elders, officials from the Assembly, and a huge delegation comprising of party faithful and residents, held a sod-cutting exercise to mark the commencement of some key road construction works in Kwesimintsim.
Gracing the ceremony at the Kwesimintsim Fie, this signalled another great forward movement in the ongoing constituency infrastructural upgrading agenda.
These projects involve the asphaltic overlay of Kwesimintsim Fie town roads, construction of inner roads in Tadisco Down, and improvement of selected roads in the Anaji East Electoral Area.
Indeed, the Kwesimintsim Fie town roads, a town that has seen no major development in almost 30 years, are finally going to get much-needed attention, and that is what makes this initiative quite important to the community.
Added to these new developments, the constituency is currently experiencing a myriad of ongoing road construction works. These include upgrading the Nyamebekyere-Bankyease,
Sector E and Nhyira Hotel roads in Anaji, the District Court, Apremdo, the inner roads of Anaji SSNIT flats, the Adientem-to-Assakae link, and the reconstruction of the Takoradi-Agona Nkwanta Highway that passes through parts of Kwesimintsim.
These general initiatives, championed by Dr. Prince Hamid Armah, MP for Kwesimintsim and Deputy Minister for Works and Housing, strongly attest to the need for the improvement of the road network in the constituency for effective connectivity.
If properly executed, these works will bring permanent benefits to the community in terms of enhanced local development and accessibility for the people.
