MUSLIM MEN URGED TO STOP ABUSING THEIR WIVES

 

Muslim men has been advised to desist from abusing their wives, stating that, hundreds of Muslim women and children are mostly affected by the act of abuse in marriages in Ghana according to a police Report in the Shai Osudoku District.

Alhaji Alhassan Latif Lugsana Dagomba chief for Shai Osudoku has called on all Muslims, no matter their financial status should desist from abusing their wives and children, adding that, the act of betrothing young girls and forcing them into marriage is not the best must be stopped.

He admonished that, the Muslims community to embrace and respect each other’s view to foster inclusiveness and acceptability in the society. He urged the youth to desist from tarnishing the image of the Islamic religion by way of negative acts.

The chief called on benevolent indiviuals and organisations to come on board and assist the community improve on some of the infrastructures and other facilities which are in a very deplorable state in Shai Osuduku and its environs.
