The Flagbearer for National Democratic Party (NDP) Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings will on November 23, 2020 address the country on the demise of her husband Jerry John Rawlings.
The former President died on November 12,2020 from an undisclosed ailment at the Cardiothoracic Center where he was receiving treatment.
Many have attributed his demise to the novel coronavirus which came as a shock to many because he buried his mother not long ago.
The former First Lady who has been quiet in the wake of some controversies after her husband died, is set to address the country in order to clarify some issues.
The event which will take place at 2pm will be held on the premises of Alisa Hotel in Accra.
Since the death of the former President of Ghana, his political party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has faulted the President for not acknowledging them in the various activities that have taken place.
Some members of the party have threatened exhume the body of the late President if the President buries him.
