AshantiGold SC has snapped up experienced striker Nathaniel Asamoah in the ongoing transfer window, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively confirm.
The rasta-haired sharpshooter penned a two-year deal with the Len Clay Stadium outfit on Monday following a successful medical examination.
Asamoah has been without a club after his contract with Armenian club FC Banants was terminated after scoring twice in 17 games.
The signing of the 29-year-old striker is expected to bolster the club’s attacking options following the imminent departure of their Shafiu Mumuni.
Asamoah had featured for several clubs including Legon Cities, Asante Kotoko, Red Stars Belgrade, Medeama SC, Raja Casablanca and Aduana Stars.
His last stint in the Ghana Premier League was at Aduana Stars where he bagged ten goals in 40 games.
