NDC is in crisis – Atubiga admits

A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communications Stephen Atubiga team has acknowledged that the NDC is in crisis.

According to him, at this time when the party is in court, it’s imperative that all members provide the needed support and not go against the political party to make utterances against the direction taken by the party.

He made this known while addressing issues with regards to the suspension of the former Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Koku Anyidoho on Bolgatanga-based A1 Radio and was monitored by MyNewsGh.com.

Atubiga noted that the sack is long overdue but added that it brings no change because Koku Anyidoho adds or subtracts nothing from the NDC.

“I think it’s long overdue. It’s the best decision the party has taken. We’re in crisis right now trying to justify our case in court; somebody like Koku Anyidoho who has been a Deputy General Secretary of the party and onetime wanted to become the General Secretary of the party should know better that when the party takes a decision, we all have to follow – whether we like it or not.

So when the party is in court and you come out to make irresponsible statements chastising the party and making ridicule out of that; definitely they will suspend you as a member.”

“Koku Anyidoho as a matter of fact does not add any value to the NDC neither does he take any value away. He’s just like any other person in the party.”
