NDC refuses to sign vigilantism code of conduct

The NDC has refused to sign the Roadmap and the Code of Conduct presented by the National Peace council as part of measures to curb the menace of political vigilantism during elections.

The opposition party which was represented at the final vigilantism dialogue today established that signing of the document is a very premature move.

“We apologize to the peace council but we cannot sign the document. We believe it’s a very premature move to sign it. Until every stakeholder is present we cannot sign it,”
