The Communications Director of Friends of Bawumia UK, Danach B, has lambasted the NDC for claiming credit for the recent Cedi strength against the dollar, describing it as “laughable and preposterous” for the party to tout economic gains after just four months in power.
He argues that the NDC hasn’t implemented any policies contributing to the local currency’s performance, instead riding on policies initiated by Dr. Bawumia, which are now yielding positive results. Notably, policies like the gold-for-oil initiative are indeed one of the finest policies that are yielding the needed results.
He praises Dr. Bawumia as a refined character with a wealth of ideas and a passion for the country’s well-being.
Undoubtedly, as Vice President, Dr. Bawumia championed policies that have fertilized the ground for Ghana’s robust economy, and the NDC cannot underestimate the facts.
According to him, giving credit to the NDC for the Cedi gains is utterly wrong, adding that Dr. Bawumia deserves appreciation for his contributions to the country’s economic development.
Danach B concludes that Dr. Bawumia is a “God-sent” leader who can develop the country if given the mandate as President in 2028.
