New Nigerian governor opts for locally manufactured official vehicle

Charles Soludo, was sworn in as new governor of Nigeria’s southeastern Anambra State on Friday, March 18, 2022.

The former Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, governor received lots of plaudits for his inaugural speech which emphasized his main plans to reposition the state and improve the lot of Ndi Anambra (the people.)

One point that has also endeared him to Nigerians is his decision to use a locally manufactured automobile as his official vehile.

The company, Innoson, thanked Soludo for his faith for keeping his words on the occasion of his Inauguration.

“The company is grateful that Mr. Governor wants to look inward, partner with and promote local products.

“The Innoson Group look forward to a fruitful Partnership with the government under your leadership and wishes to reiterate her commitment to support your Government in any way possible in order to ensure it achieves her vision.”

The statement posted on Twitter was signed by Cornel Osigwe, the Head of Corporate Communications Innoson Group.
