Nigeria’s prison pageant: Alleged murderer crowned ‘Miss Cell 2022’

A beauty pageant was this week held in one of Nigeria’s biggest prison facilities.

The event which was held at Kirikiri correctional facility was to mark the 2022 International Women’s Day.

Several inmates participated in the event labeled ‘Miss Cell.’

Various female inmates brought out their talents and skills in different outfits whiles also engaging in different activities.

But the main highlight from the event is the winner of the event, Chidinma Ojukwu.

She is alleged to have killed CEO of SuperTV, Michael Ataga in a hotel last year. The trial is still ongoing.
