Now Ghanaians Pay huge money under Akufo Addo led Gov’t before they get employment-NPP Guru

The former Upper East Regional Organizer for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP),Mr. Yaw Mort has expressed worry at the ongoing cracks and infighting within the New Patriotic Party.

Mort who allegedly pointed figures at the leadership of the NPP of selling employment slots to the already suffering Ghanaians under this currenteconomicchallenges, disclosed that the party has woefully failed Ghanaians and foot soldiers who toiled for the party to come to power.

According to him, the jobless teeming youth in the country had to purchase employment opportunities so one could be fixed in the Ghanaian job space.

Mr. Mort poured out his sardonic feeling saying “Some of us have the feeling that Hon. Alan did what he did out of pain and we were all having that pain in us but like I said, but upon certain thought we decided to let it be. People were lying that they sacked them because of Alan, they are liars. Some of them, we have national security reports about them, and we know why they were sacked, and I won’t mention names, but they know themselves. They shouldn’t dare people to come out and speak if they dare, it will not go well for all of us as a party and as individuals. So please, we should trade cautiously.”

“I can confidently say the party has disappointed a lot of party members. I am a grassroots person as I sit here. If you go to the grounds and people are not happy, a lot are not happy but of course, it is their party, what will they do? So they are quiet. Silence is dangerous, if you see people not complaining, it is dangerous, you wouldn’t know what they are thinking and at the end of the day, they will do things that are so suicidal to the party”.

“Currently, our regional chairman, I had talks with him and it was very cordial, he moves swiftly to say look, we are brothers, and we are in the same party and from the same constituency. So, is important to sit on the round table to resolve and cool down tempers to let things go normal. That is how we should be doing but if you think that you are in government and you have power forget it. Some are chopping and some are not chopping. But how many are happy? Only a few. The majority of the foot soldiers are not happy”.

“Today, when they want a job they have to buy. People buy before they get a job to do. How many of the foot soldiers can get such money to buy? Police, fire, prisons, immigration, and what have you are all for sale and this is dangerous. In Kufuor’s era, I didn’t see this, maybe if they did in NDC I don’t know but this time, that is the order of the day which is not going well for this party. The party today is for the highest bidder. Is it supposed to be so?

“Some of us are not happy with the way things are going. I have been at this party since 1992 although I was young then, I voted in 1992. A lot of guys into the party through me but today where am i?

“People were told that look, if you don’t do what we want you to do, we will treat you like we have treated Yaw Mort, can’t you see we have silenced Yaw Mort and made him irrelevant in the party and I just laughed at them. If I am irrelevant in Nana Akufo-Addo’s government, the future government will come, and I will not be irrelevant if only there is life. Even if am irrelevant to NPP, I will never be irrelevant to my family and friends”. He lamented
