Npp Doing All Things Possible To Collapse Akontombra Constituency”- NDC PC Alleges
The National Democratic Congress, Parliamentary Candidate for the Sefwi Akontombra Constituency, Hon. Pious Nkoah has accused the Member of Parliament for the constituency, Hon Alex Tetteh and his team for doing all things possible to collapse the constituency.
His remarks come after he was accused of bringing in thugs to attack NPP supporters and potentially preventing them from transferring their votes in the ongoing process.
Mr. Pious Nkoah firmly stated that these accusations are unfounded and should be dismissed accordingly. “The NPP PC is directing their attack towards me and my supporters, so that they can do their evil acts and not we the NDC”.
Furthermore, he claimed that the Npp PC is transporting individuals from Somanya and other areas to the constituency in order to manipulate their votes in his favor during the December 7 elections.
Adding, Hon. Alex Tetteh is making noise so that he can get the backing of the security and other state apparatus.
“Hon. Alex Tetteh is making these accusations so that he can get backing from the police and the national security so that he can carry out his tactics, they are using gerrymandering tactics to win the seat and that’s not the choice of the people of Akontombra Constituency. I am calling on CSOs and other well meaning Ghanaians to come in and stop him from these unlawful behaviors,” he said.
He claimed that the Npp, aware of their mistreatment of the people of Akontombra and the poor state of roads and lack of development projects in the constituency, resorted to malicious tactics to secure more votes, possibly due to their unethical actions.
