NPP MP threatens to resign if Akufo-Addo fails to fix deplorable Manso-Adubia roads

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) Manso Adubia in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo has threatened to quit the party if the bad road network in the area is not fixed immediately.

“By 2023/24, if the roads in my constituency remain untarred, trust me I will not even campaign for the party. I will not even ask them to vote for me at all”, he vowed on Kumasi-based Nhyira FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com.

This comes after residents in the mining community demanded that the Akufo-Addo government as a matter of urgency fix the deplorable roads in the area to aid their movements from to and from the Regional Capital after several demonstrations against the MP.

According to the MP, his outfit is doing everything possible with the central government to ensure the district gets it national cake of road infrastructure the President has promised the good people of Ghana.

“You know the President Akufo-Addo has declared 2021 as year of road so, I am very optimistic that, before the he finishes his term, every road in the country will see a facelift”, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo assured residents.

“I know am being recorded for records sake. And I repeat, if I don’t see my road fixed, I will not even contest for primaries in the constituency at all”, NPP MP, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo stated.
