NPP Reg polls: Wontumi re-elected as Chairman of Ashanti

Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, was on Saturday, 28 May , re-elected as the Ashanti Region2022al Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Chairman wontumi polled 464 votes, while his main contender, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah also known as Coka polled 306 votes.

The others, Asare Bediako Robert had 20 votes, Kwabena Owusu Aduomi had 9 votes and Kofi Adum Bawua,3 votes.

The incumbent retains the position for the third time.
