The United States of America branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Columbus chapter has donated an amount of one thousand eight hundred dollars ($1, 800) to support two constituencies of the party in Ghana.
The donation is to enable the two constituencies prepare adequately for Monday’s general election.
The gesture is intended to take care of feeding and allowances for party agents that would be used for the general election.
Michael Amoako, NPP-USA Columbus Chapter Financial Secretary speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper after donating the money on behalf of Columbus Chapter said the chapter decided to adopt the JUABOSO and Kade constituencies as their part of the 24 constituencies the USA-branch is taking care of in the country.
COMMITMENT:
He expressed the commitment of the NPP-USA Columbus Chapter to do their part whenever the occasion arose.
He noted that the branch believe in the policies of the NPP government.
According to him, the administration under Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has ensured the implementation of life changing programmes such as the planting for food and jobs and the free Senior High School policies.
He also noted that the employment creating initiatives such as NABCo and the national entrepreneurship Innovation Program has ensured jobs for the youth and the unemployed.
CONFIDENCE:
The NPP-USA Columbus Chapter Financial Secretary expressed confidence in the party of winning a one touch second term in office.
He said Monday’s general elections would show clearly that Ghanaians are appreciative of the initiatives and policies of the NPP government.
He urged the electorate to set out early and cast their ballots for Nana Akufo-Addo as well as all NPP Parliamentary Candidates.
Mr Amoako asked that all eligible voters go about their civic duty with peaceful composure to ensure the exercise ends in peace.
