Hon Caesar Ofosu Acheampong, former parliamentary candidate for the Offinso North constituency and current aspirant for District Chief Executive (DCE), has assured residents that he will provide the requisite leadership devoid of partisanship for the development of the Assembly and pledged to make youth unemployment his top priority.
“I am here to serve the people of Offinso North irrespective of one’s political inclination or affiliation.
“I have strongly indicated that I am not here to do politics and that my goal and aspiration is to be a worthy representative of President John Dramani Mahama and serve the people to the best of my ability,” he said.
According to him, he has committed to addressing the growing issue of joblessness among the young people in the area.
Speaking in an interview with Asona Dehyie Kwateng, Hon Acheampong voiced his concern over the high rates of unemployment, stating that it poses a potential security risk to the constituency. He assured constituents that if appointed DCE, he would actively work to create meaningful employment opportunities for young people.
Hon Ceaser Acheampong also promised to empower the youth to create their own jobs and support the government’s 24-hour economy initiative. “I will make sure that the youth within the area are empowered to create more employment opportunities,” he said.
He expressed his hope of being selected by John Dramani Mahama as the next DCE.
