Cousin of the President, Mr Gabby Otchere Darko has just announced that the government has decided to use the old Agbogbloshie market land as a district hospital under the Agenda 111 project.
In a Facebook post sighted by MyNewsGhana.net, a very delighted Mr Otchere Darko said the construction of the Ablekuma Central District Hospital will be complete for use in a couple of years.
In this vein, he said that 13 acres of the land have been offered for the construction of the project.
He also added that Greater Accra Regional Minister, Mr Henry Quartey is making frantic efforts to ensure that this move blossoms into a beautiful reality.

“Today the Agenda 111 team joined the Greater Accra Regional Minister to inspect the Agbogbloshie cleared site. Imagine how pleasing it will be to see in a couple of years a magnificent hospital in Agbogbloshie!!!
West Africa’s biggest slum and major health hazard zone now becoming a place to heal the sick! It is happening live! We are hearing that 13 acres have been offered for the construction of the Ablekuma Central District Hospital on part of the reclaimed Agbogbloshie land. It will be done. We will get there… ” he wrote
