One cigarette is to be sold at 5 Cedis in Ghana on Monday

One cigarette is going to be sold at 5 Ghana cedis in Ghana. This increase in the price of cigarettes will be effective On Monday.

The cigarette was sold at 1.50ps then but from Monday they will be sold at 5 cedis. The reason is due to the change in weather in the world and the country, the weed crops are finding it difficult to produce a certain amount of leaves needed for the production of cigarettes in the country.

The people mostly affected by this are the people who smoke. Interviewing those who take in the cigarette, the complaint was now they won’t be able to smoke and also buy what they like and what they want since the price is too high for them.

They intend that they could take in 4 cigarettes from the 5 Ghana cedis but now they can only take in 1.

They explain to the media how they suffer to get money to take in the cigarette and it also builds their energy for work.
