Parliament to commence sitting on October 22

Parliament will commence sitting on Tuesday 22nd October 2019 for the third meeting of the third session of the seventh Parliament after a long recess.

A release issued by the Speaker of the House, Prof. Aaron Mike Ocquaye read: “In pursuance of standing order 37 of the Parliament of Ghana, I, Professor Aaron Michael Oquaye, Right Honourable Speaker of Parliament, hereby give notice that the third meeting of the third session of The Seventh Parliament of The Fourth Republic will commence on Tuesday, 22nd October, 2019 at ten o’clock in the forenoon at Parliament House, Accra”.

Parliament adjourned Sine Die late July to afford MPs the much need rest and opportunity to visit their constituencies to confer with constituents and also address party issues, including the parliamentary primaries.
