Pastor Tawiah is Arrested !

83 years old Pastor of Christ Faith Church in Kasoa Walantu, Abraham Tawiah has been arrested by the Police. A 6 years old child with a fractured arm was taken to his church by the stepfather and mother, Gilbert and Gladys Mensah for healing.

According to mechanic workers in the area, the child was send on errand and it had been days they saw the child, so they decided to look for him. On meeting the child they saw that the hand had been bandaged and water oozing out of it.

They then decided to open the bandage, but upon opening it, the child’s arm (from elbow downwards) literally fell off to the ground. The child’s arm was rotten. They immediately rushed the child to Kasoa Polyclinic but was referred to Winneba Government Hospital.

He has since been referred to Cape Coast Teaching Hospital to be treated to avoiding further rotting of the hand. The arm which fell off is reported to have been buried at the mechanic shop.

The Pastor together with the Parents of the child have been arrested by Kasoa DOVSU because of their negligence, by not taking the child to see a Qualified Medical Personnel.
