Pay for toilets you’re commissioning now – Mahama taunts Nana

Former President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama has challenged the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led administration to pay contractors for the toilets they are commissioning across the country.

According to him, what the NPP has to show for for the excessive borrowing in the past four years is only toilets which they are currently commissioning.

Even with that, they have not paid the contractors who borrowed money to foot the bill for toilet facility.

“The work of contractors have been spoilt by the government. They are all home now. 538 contractors were contracted by the government by they have not been paid. If contractors have worked, why not pay them?

When we asked them to show us what they have done, the tracker they brought showed that they had built a huge number of toilet facilities. However, they have not paid for all these toilet facilities across the country. But they are busily going round the country commissioning these toilets. Nana Addo and Bawumia please pay for the toilet you have built,” he said.
