Philanthropist Samuel Quansah Quarcoo supports Westside School

A Philanthropist, Mr. Samuel Quansah Quarcoo has donated educational materials worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to Westside School at Ablekuma in the Greater Accra region for onward distribution to needed schools.

Among the materials he donated are shoes, school bags, mathematical sets, textbooks, notebooks, boxes of A4 sheets, pens, pencils, liquid soaps, sanitizers and many more.

Presenting the items, the US-based retired Ghanaian Teacher indicated that the donation is aimed at aiding smooth and effective teaching and learning in the country.

” Education is a powerful driver of development and one of the strongest instruments for reducing poverty and improving health, gender equality, peace and stability. That is why I have decided to contribute towards the government agenda to improve quality education to promote development” he said.
According to him, this will go a long way to improve upon pupils attendance and work output. Mr. Quansah therefore challenged them to attend school regularly and charged them to encourage their colleagues to come to school.
