One person is feared dead with eight persons in critical conditions in an accident at Akuse Junction in the Eastern region.
According to a witness, the accident occurred after a Hyundai (H100) vehicle with registration number ER 228- 12 loaded with fish from Tema collided with a saloon car with registration number GG 442- 14 coming from Somanya.
“Four people were seriously injured with a baby believed to be seven months old also falling from one of the cars onto the road,” the witness narrated.
A police patrol team in the area with the help of some residents conveyed the victims to the Akuse Hospital with investigations yet to begin to establish the cause of accident.
