PHOTOS: Tipper Truck crushes into 5 bedroom house

A family escaped death Sunday after a Volvo Tipper Truck with registration number  GE9312Y loaded with construction sand from Bunso-to Bososo crashed into the five-bedroom house at Akyem Ettukrom in Abuakwa North Municipality of the Eastern Region.

The Truck suddenly reversed while climbing a hill towards Akyem Osiem.

The effort by the driver to apply brake failed as it reversed violently and crashed into the building collapsing portions of it.

Fortunately, nobody was in the room hence no casualty was recorded

The driver who was in charge of the Truck belonging to Jelcom Construction Company escaped unhurt.

 

He has since been arrested by the Akyem New Tafo police team for investigations.
