A police officer had the shock of his life when he was ambushed by armed robbers in broad daylight.
The incident occurred on the N1 highway, in Accra, Wednesday. The robbers took away GH¢80,000.00.
Narrating his ordeal to Adom News, the police officer said the two masked men fired warning shots before bolting with the bag containing the money.
The shocker, he noted, was when one of the armed robbers returned and demanded the key to his motorbike which he readily gave out.
