Former President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have begun a number of consultative meetings with various stakeholders ahead of the development of the party’s 2020 manifesto and campaign for the general elections.

Mr Mahama disclosed this at a meeting with executives of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches (GPCC) in Accra on Wednesday, 11 September 2019.

The discussion centred on areas including corruption, a national development agenda, education, the Electoral Commission, security; and the banking and financial sector.

Mr Mahama reiterated the NDC’s commitment to social democracy and the sustained development of all sectors of the country.
