Deletion of Names: Jean Mensah led- EC must be call to order before she rewrites the history of Ghana- NDC’S Sinare Warns

In a Facebook post, the Vice Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Said Sinare has sent a strong warning to the EC after it became clear that 30,000 names have been deleted from the Voter’s register.

The latest caution to EC comes upon several anomalies ranging from missing names from the register during the exhibition exercise, and now the deletion of names from the voters register which the NDC Stawalt suspects a foul play and has alluded that the EC is doing so deliberately to take out names of its members from the newly compiled voters register.

According to the firebrand politician, his checks have shown that most of the affected names happen to be in the NDC strongholds. “This is a deliberate attempt to rig the elections in favour of NPP”, he said.

“The reasons cited by the EC are not enough to warrant such deletions. We were all here when so many of our members who were outside the country at the time of registration were prevented from registering during the voter registration exercise under the guise of preventing foreigners from registering, the very few that got the opportunity to register too, per our checks have been unfairly removed without any justifiable cause”, Alhaji fumes.

Alhaji Sinare has therefore called on the Electoral Commission (EC) to ensure a credible and transparent election on December 7 as the party would not accept results of a flawed election.

He therefore warned the Jean Mensah to be very careful with her posture, as everything clearly shows that she is trying to rig the elections.

“We don’t trust the EC on any account”, Alhaji emphasized whilst speaking to the media. He also indicated that, the NDC is well positioned to match the EC and the NPP in any election rigging plot against the NDC.

On conclusion, he indicated that, whether the elections will be peaceful or not will be determined by how fair the EC will be, because the NDC shall resist Every attempt by the NPP’s wonder woman Jean Mensah.
