Election 2020 Petition: “I Didn’t Speak Personally To EC Boss” – Kpessa-Whyte Testifies At Supreme Court

Dr. Michael Kpessa-Whyte, former National Service Secretariat boss on Tuesday, mounted the witness box to testify for former President John Mahama, the Petitioner in the 2020 presidential election petition hearing.

Dr. Michael Kpessa-Whyte, the second witness for the Petitioner, in Tuesday’s hearing indicated that even though there was an instruction from the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa to go to former President John Mahama, he did not personally speak to her.

He had told the Apex Court that, “My Lord, the second respondent (Jean Mensa) instructed us to leave the strong room and consult with our flagbearer on some irregularities. We were looking at results coming in region by region for it to be compared with the values on the regional summary on the screen and this process never happened.”
