Lord, my husband committed his battles to you and this time is no different – Rebecca prays

First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo has reminded God that her husband has always committed his battles into his hands and this time is no different.

Mrs Akufo-Addo is seeking for the face of the Lord for her husband who is seeking a second term bid to be President of Ghana.

Also, the first Lady is seeking for the face of the Lord in the affairs of the country into the hands of the lord as the country prepares to choose a leader in a few days.

She said in a post on Facebook that “Our Heavenly Father, I commit him once again into your hands. He has always left the Battle to You. This time is no different. We commit Ghana into your hands for this important week ahead. Amen”.

Meanwhile, Satirist Kweku Sintim Misa has expressed his resentment for leaving the battle in the hands of the lord when clearly the battle belongs to the citizens.

To him, the citizens have the right to choose their leaders and they will be chosen based on their performance so the battle can never be in the hands of the Lord.

“The BATTLE IS NOT THE LORD’s. We have FREE WILL to use our conscience to MAKE DECISIONS. The decisions we make are our’s NOT the LORD’s The outcome of the election will be the RESULT of our DECISION. Whether its PEACEFUL or VIOLENT is in our HANDS. LORD ABR3.”
