Popular Ghanaian highlife and funeral artist losses mother in-law.

One of the most popular Highlife and funeral artists in Ghana, Nana Nyarko has suddenly lost his 74 year old mother in-law at Sessiman in Nkoranza Municipal in the Bono East region.

The death of Obaapanin Akosua Nyarko according to a reliable source has affected the “Meko ama oman boadwo” hit maker, which has led to his official suspension of activities until further notice.

Nana Nyarko, the Nkoranza born and based artist who aside making several tribute songs in Ghana including the late peace fm general manager, Mr Akwasi Brenya, Otumfour Osei Tutu’ late mother and others has also hit songs like “Okafoo Didi”, “Ye som sika dwa”, and “Abusua dofunu” which is his current trending track.

“This is a big blow to my family because I took her as my everything” he hinted.

Nana Nyarko later appealed to the Ghana music industry and the general public to join him to celebrate her late in-law as the funeral will be held at Sessiman in Nkoranza.
