The Robotics Club of Prempeh College has clinched world championship titles at the just-ended 2024 Robofest held in Southfield, United States of America.
The team from the school beat their contenders, who represented top-notch high schools globally, to grab the coveted prize of the Open Categories of the World Championship.
The 2024 edition of the championship was organized in-person at the Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan, USA. The Robofest World Championship is designed to foster and support Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math, AI and Computer Science.
They won it last year, and it was even two awards they clinched at the end of the competition. The team’s hard work and dedication throughout the year paid off as they showcased their innovative robotic creations on the global stage, solidifying their reputation as leaders in the field of robotics.
The team from Prempeh College showcased exceptional problem-solving skills and creativity in designing and programming their robots to outperform the competition. This victory further solidifies the school’s reputation as a powerhouse in Free education on a global scale.
