Presidency blows over GHC60m on foreign trips

The Jubilee House spent in excess of GHC60 million on foreign trips and related expenses in the first 9 months of the year.

According to budget estimate of the presidency submitted to Parliament Thursday, the Presidency also spent over one million cedis on Printed materials and stationary.

Additionally, the Jubilee House expended over five million cedis on hotel accommodation within the nine months period.

The documents also showed that similar expenditure was made by the office of the vice president.

The developed has sparked anger among the Majority members of the House who are demanding explanations from the Chief of Staff.
